AN ACT to amend the Licensing Act, 1911.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Licensing Act Amend- ment Act, 1922, and shall be read as one with the Licensing Act, 1911.

Granting of new

2. It shall be unlawful, during the continuance of this Act, for a Licensing Court to grant any license or to register any club for or in respect of premises not licensed or registered at the commencement of this Act:

Provided that this section shall not apply to eating- house, boarding-house, or lodging-house licenses, billiard table licenses, or occasional licenses, or to licenses issued under section forty-five of the principal Act, or to club regis- trations already promised by a Licensing Bench.

4. This Act shall continue in force until the 31st day of
