HEREAS it is expedient to amend the '( Liccnsed Victuallers Preamble.

Chief of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the
said Province, in this present Parliament, nssernbled, as follo~vs | : |
1863," are hexeby repealed, exccpt as to anything done or com- |
beer, nor to the sale by any person, the occupier of a vineyard, or | the |
menced to bc done, under the said sections or either of them; and
all offences colnnlitted before this Act shall come into operation
shall be punished in the same manner as if this Act had not been passed, and licences issued under the authority of the " Licensed Victuallers Act, 1863," and not cxpired at thc time this Act shall come into operation, shall confer the same rights and privileges as
if granted after the coming into operation of this Act.
2. Every wine licence granted under the authority of theWine Licence+
"Licensed Victuallers L4ct, 1863," after this Act shall come into operation, shall authorize the person thereby licensed to sell by retail
in the house or shop, or on the premises therein specified, mead,
wine, cider, and perry, in quantities of not less than one pint: Pro-
vided, that no part thereof shall be cor~sumed | on the premises. |

shall be construed to apply to the sale of ginger beer, or spruce
