The amendments in these regulations are to the Licensed
Surveyors (Guidance of Surveyors) Regulations 1961*.

Amendment Regulations 2003

Made by the Land Surveyors Licensing Board with the approval of the
Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Licensed Surveyors
(Guidance of Surveyors) Amendment Regulations 2003.

2.             The regulations amended

3.            Regulation 36 amended

(1) Regulation 36(1) is amended by deleting "an approved
hardwood, reinforced concrete, steel or other durable material."
and inserting instead -

made from a material approved by the Board. ".

(2) After regulation 36(1) the following subregulation is inserted -

(1 a) Posts and pegs are to be in accordance with a design

approved by the Board.

(3) Regulation 36(5) is amended by deleting "cannot be used," and
inserting instead -

is inappropriate, ".

(4)	Regulation 36(7) is amended by deleting "painted" in both places where it occurs and inserting instead -
" coloured ".
(5)	The Table to regulation 36 is amended as follows:

(a) in paragraph (a) by deleting "or a steel post or peg, 60 mm square, at least 0.9 in long." and inserting instead -

"

a steel post or peg, 60 mm square, at least 0.9 in long or a mark made from another material and to dimensions approved by the Board.

IF

(b) by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c) and inserting the following paragraphs instead -

"

(b)	Area 4 000 square metres to 4 hectares:
A peg, 75 mm square, at least 0.35 in long, a
concrete post 60 mm square, at least 0.45 in long, a steel peg 75 mm square, at least 0.6 in long or a mark made from another material and to dimensions approved by the Board.
(c)

Area under 4 000 square metres: concrete post, 50 mm square, at least 0.4 in long or a mark made from another material and to dimensions approved by the Board.

4.            Regulation 45 amended

Regulation 45 is amended by deleting "painted" and inserting instead -

" coloured ".

5.            Regulation 46 amended

Regulation 46 is amended by deleting "painted" and inserting instead —

" coloured "
