Variation to Licence Area Plan for Sydney Radio – No 1 of 2006

Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Sydney Radio determined on 16 December 1999 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below.

1. The determination in the principal instrument is varied to:

(a) number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16); (17), (18) and (19);

(b) in clause (2) omit the word  “three” and substitute the word “two”.

(c) insert the following clause after clause (19):

“(20) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time”.

1. Under the heading “SCHEDULES”, immediately following the determination,

(a)omit the words “Each of the schedules sets out:”;

(b)omit all eight paragraphs marked with dot points;

(c)    omit the heading “Status Column” and all text immediately following the heading; and

(d)   omit the heading “Frequency Column” and all text immediately following the heading.

1. Schedules One to Eighteen to the principal instrument are varied to omit the column headed “Status”.

1. Schedule One to the principal instrument is varied to:

(a)omit row 18 including all text;

(b)omit row 19 including all text and insert at row 26; and

(c)    omit the number “1.28.1” from the column headed “Attach No” and substitute the number “1.28”.

1. Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:

(a)omit Attachment 1.19;

(b)omit Attachment 1.28; and

(c)    omit the heading “Attachment 1.28.1” from attachment 1.28.1 and substitute the heading “Attachment 1.28”.

This Variation commences on the day after it is registered.
