VARIATION TO LICENCE AREA PLAN FOR SYDNEY ANALOG TELEVISION – No 1 of 2005

Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Broadcasting Authority varies the licence area plan for Sydney analog television determined on 21 November 2002 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:

  1. The determination in the principal instrument is varied:

(a) to number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (7); and

(b) to insert the following clause after clause (7):

“(8) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time”.

  1. Page 4 of the principal instrument is varied by:

(a) deleting the heading and the first line; and

(b) inserting in place of the material deleted by paragraph 2(a) of this instrument the following:

“SCHEDULE ONE
Schedule One sets out:”;
 and

(c) deleting the second dot point ; and

(d) inserting in place of the material deleted by paragraph 2(c) of this instrument the following:

“the callsign of the service (column two) does not form part of the licence area plan decision and is included for reference only, and is accurate as at the date of publication”.

  1. Schedule One to the principal instrument is varied in the manner outlined on pages 3 to 6 of this instrument.

(4) Attachments to the principal instrument are varied by:

(a) deleting Attachment 6.1 of the principal instrument; and

(b) inserting Attachment 6.1 of this instrument into the principal instrument in place of the corresponding attachment deleted by paragraph (4)(a) of this instrument.
