VARIATION
The Australian Broadcasting Authority hereby varies the licence area plan (LAP) for television broadcasting services in the Central Agricultural region of Remote and Regional Western Australia, determined on 21 February 1997 as varied[1], under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
[1] The licence area plan for television services in Remote and Regional Western Australia was varied on 30 September 1997 and 26 November 1998.
This variation comprises the deletion of technical specifications for a national/community television service in the T20 South West and Great Southern area, as set out below:

SCHEDULES
Each of the Schedules sets out:
· the category of each of the services that are to be available in that area (column one);
· the service licence number (column two), which has been allocated to the service, if appropriate; NA = Not Applicable, as the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 only requires service licences for Commercial and Community services;
· the transmitter specification number which has been allocated to each transmitter (column three);
· the identifying number of the attachment where the technical specifications for each transmitter are described (column four) (each set of technical specifications referred to in the Schedules is an attachment to this determination); and
· the general area served by each transmitter (column five).
The Schedules do not set out:
· the status of the service, which does not form part of the licence area plan decision;
· the frequency for each transmitter, which does not form part of the licence area plan decision; and
· the number of transmitters required to transmit the service.
For ease of reference, the Schedules affected by this variation to the LAP have been updated to reflect the variation to the plan.
Note: due to migration of data between databases, the technical specification numbers previously commencing TS00, now commence TS1000.
