DETERMINATION
The Australian Broadcasting Authority hereby makes this plan for broadcasting services in Remote and Regional Western Australia, under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
One commercial television broadcasting service service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 (South South West) are set out in Schedule One and Attachments 1.2 - 1.19 to this Determination.
One commercial television broadcasting service service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 (Kalgoorlie) are set out in Schedule Two and Attachments 2.2 - 2.11 to this Determination.
One commercial television broadcasting service service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 (Western Zone) are set out in Schedule Three and Attachments 3.2 - 3.98 to this Determination.
One commercial television broadcasting service service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 (Geraldton) are set out in Schedule Four and Attachments 4.2 - 4.10 to this Determination.
One commercial television broadcasting service service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 5.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 5.1 (Remote and Regional Western Australia) are set out in Schedule Five and Attachments 5.2 - 5.36 to this Determination.
Fifty four national television broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the national television services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 (South South West) are set out in Schedule Six and Attachments 6.2 - 6.58 to this Determination.
Twenty seven national television broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the national television services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 (Kalgoorlie) are set out in Schedule Seven and Attachments 7.2 - 7.29 to this Determination.
Forty two national television broadcasting services and one open narrowcasting television service are to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the national television and open narrowasting television services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 (Western Zone) are set out in Schedule Eight and Attachments 8.2 - 8.45 to this Determination.
Thirty three national television broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the national television services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 (Geraldton) are set out in Schedule Nine and Attachments 9.2 - 9.34 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 10.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 10.1 (Balgo) are set out in Schedule Ten and Attachment 10.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 11.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 11.1 (Beagle Bay) are set out in Schedule Eleven and Attachment 11.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 12.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 12.1 (Djarindjin) are set out in Schedule Twelve and Attachment 12.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 13.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 13.1 (Jigalong) are set out in Schedule Thirteen and Attachment 13.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 14.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 14.1 (Kalumburu) are set out in Schedule Fourteen and Attachment 14.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 15.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 15.1 (Kiwirrkurra) are set out in Schedule Fifteen and Attachment 15.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 16.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 16.1 (Lagrange) are set out in Schedule Sixteen and Attachment 16.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 17.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 17.1 (Looma) are set out in Schedule Seventeen and Attachment 17.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 18.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 18.1 (Oombulgurri) are set out in Schedule Eighteen and Attachment 18.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 19.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 19.1 (Tjukurla) are set out in Schedule Nineteen and Attachment 19.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 20.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 20.1 (Warmun) are set out in Schedule Twenty and Attachment 20.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 21.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 22.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 22.1 (Yandeearra)are set out in Schedule Twenty Two and Attachment 22.2 to this Determination.
One community television broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 23.1 to this Determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 23.1 (Yungngora) are set out in Schedule Twenty Three and Attachment 23.2 to this Determination.

· the category of each of the services that are to be available in that area (column one),
· the service licence number which has been allocated to the service, if appropriate (column two); N/A = Not Applicable, as the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 only requires service licences for Commercial and Community services.
· the number of transmitters required to transmit the service,
· the transmitter specification number which has been allocated to each transmitter (column three),
· the identifying number of the attachment where the technical specifications for each transmitter are described (column four). (Each set of technical specifications referred to in the Schedules is an attachment to this determination).
· the general area served by each transmitter (column five).
