Variation to Licence Area Plan – Hobart Radio – No.1 of 2011
1. Enabling legislation
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes this instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
2. Name of Instrument
This instrument is the Variation to the Licence Area Plan for Hobart Radio – No. 1 of 2011.
3. Commencement
This instrument commences the day after it is registered.
Note: An instrument is registered when it is recorded on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) in electronic form: see the Legislative Instruments Act 2003, s4 (definition of register). The FRLI may be accessed at Variation
The Licence Area Plan for Hobart Radio determined by the Australian Broadcasting Authority on 13 December 2001 and varied on 27 March 2003 and 13 August 2007 is varied as follows:
(a) on the title page - omit the words “December 2001”;
(b) remove the heading “Determination” from page three;
(c) in clause (2):
(i) omit the words “one open narrowcasting radio service” and substitute the words “two open narrowcasting radio services”;
(ii) omit the word “Determination” and substitute the word “plan” in the clause; and
(iii) omit the words “Attachments 1.2, 1.4 – 1.17 and 1.19 – 1.20” and substitute the words “attachments 1.2, 1.4 – 1.17 and 1.19 – 1.21”;
(d) in clauses (3) and (4) omit the word “Determination” and substitute the word “plan”.
(e) in clause (5):
(i) omit the word “Determination” and substitute the word “plan” in the clause: and
(ii) omit “4.2 – 4.3” and substitute “4.2 – 4.4”;
(f) in clauses (6) and (7) omit the word “Determination” and substitute the word “plan” ;
(g) omit schedules one, two, three, four, five and six and substitute schedules one, two, three, four, five and six to this instrument;
(h) omit attachments 1.18.1 and 1.19.1;
(i) omit attachments 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 – 1.17 and 1.19 – 1.20 and substitute attachments 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 – 1.17 and 1.19 – 1.20 to this instrument;
(j) after Attachment 1.20, insert Attachment 1.21 to this instrument;
(k) omit attachments 2.1 - 2.3 and substitute attachments 2.1 – 2.3 to this instrument;
(l) omit attachments 3.1 and 3.2 and substitute attachments 3.1 and 3.2 to this instrument;
