Variation to the Licence Area Plan for Gympie Radio – No. 1 of 2008
Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications & Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Gympie radio determined on 21 December 2000 and varied on 22 November 2001 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:
(1)The determination in the principal instrument is varied to:
(a) number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1), (2), (3) and (4);
(b) in clause (2) omit the word “Four” and substitute the word “Five”;
(c) in clause (2) omit the second occurrence of the word “and”;
(d) in clause (2) omit the numbers “1.2 - 1.7” and substitute the numbers “1.2 – 1.9”; and
(e) insert the following clause after clause (4):
“(5) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment
includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.”
(2)Immediately following the determination, the principal instrument is varied to:
(a)omit the heading “SCHEDULES”;
(b)omit the words “Each of the schedules sets out:”;
(c)omit all eight paragraphs marked with dot points;
(d)omit the heading “Status Column” and the five paragraphs immediately following the heading; and
(e)omit the heading “Frequency Column” and the paragraph immediately following the heading.
(3) The Schedules to the principal instrument are varied to:
(a) omit Schedule One of the principal instrument and substitute Schedule One of this instrument; and
(b) omit the Status column from the table in Schedule Two of the principal instrument;
(c) omit the Status column from the table in Schedule Three of the principal instrument.
(4) Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:
(a) omit Attachment 1.1 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.1
of this instrument;
(b) omit Attachment 1.7 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.7
of this instrument;
(c) omit Attachment 1.8 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.8
of this instrument;
(d) omit Attachment 1.9 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.9
of this instrument;
(e) omit Attachment 2.1 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 2.1
of this instrument; and
(f) omit Attachment 3.1 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 3.1
of this instrument.
