Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio

(1) This plan for radio broadcasting services in the Colac area of Victoria is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

(2)        One national, two commercial and one community radio broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 are set out in Schedule One and Attachments 1.2 - 1.9 to this plan.

(3)        A reference in this plan to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.

Special Conditions :-

  1. The direction of minimum CMF is to lie within 1 degree of 43°T and 153°T.

  1. The minimum CMF is to lie in the range 70V to 100V.

  1. Maximum CMFs of 100 V on a bearing of 45°T, 400 V on a bearing of 128°T and 1000 V on a bearing of 274°T are not to be exceeded to provide protection to Armidale (NSW), Queenstown (NZL) and to Collie (WA) respectively.
