Variation to Licence Area Plan for ChartersTowers Radio – No. 1 of 2008

Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (the BSA), the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Charters Towers Radio determined on 30 October 1997 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:

(1)The Determination in the principal instrument is varied to:

(a)number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1) and (2);

(b)in clause (1), omit the word “section”: and substitute the word “subsection”; and

(c)insert the following clause after clause (2);

“(3) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.”

(2)Immediately following the Determination, the principal instrument is varied to:

(a) omit the heading “Schedule”;

(b) omit the words “The Schedule sets out:”; and

(c) omit all six paragraphs marked with dot points.

(3)  The schedule to the principal instrument is varied to omit Schedule One of the principal instrument and substitute Schedule One of this instrument.

(4) Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:

(a) omit Attachment 1.1 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.1 of this instrument; and

(b) omit Attachment 1.8 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.8 of this instrument.
