s1 2 s3 Libraries and Archives Amendment (No. 1) No. 251, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Libraries and Archives Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Libraries and Archives Regulation 1990 . ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Interpretation) 3.(1) Section 4(2), ‘In these regulations’— omit, insert— ‘For the Act’. (2) Section 4(2), table, column 1, ‘A Commission within the meaning of the CommissionsofInquiryAct1950–1989’ , and words opposite in column 2— omit, insert— ‘A Commission within the meaning of the CommissionsofInquiry Act 1950 The chief executive of the department in which the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1950 is administered’. (3) Section 4, after table— insert— ‘ (3) To avoid doubt, it is declared that a reference in subsection (2) to the Act includes a reference to a regulation under the Act.’. ENDNOTES 1.
