21 Queenslanbr ANNO VICESIMO SEXTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 3 of 1977 An Act to amend the L ibraries Act 1943-1974 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 5TH APRIL, 1977] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: - 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Libraries Act Amendment Act 1977. (2) The Libraries Act 1943-1974 as amended by this Act may be cited as the Libraries Act 1943-1977. 2. Amendment of s. 16. Section 16 of the Libraries Act 1943-1974 is amended by, in subsection (5}- (a) omitting the words ", with the approval of the Governor in Council, "; (b) omitting the word " such " where it first occurs in the subsection and substituting the word " a ";

22 Libraries Act Amendment Act 1977, 1 (c) omitting the words " and on such terms and conditions as may from time to time be so approved." and substituting the words ", but any -rant or loan or grant and loan so made shall be made on and subject to such terms and conditions as the Minister determines, either generally or in any particular case (power to determine such terms and conditions being hereby authorized).".
