APPEARANCES:

M Leonard, Deputy Industrial Registrar.

THE PRESIDENT: This is an application under section 639(4) of the Industrial Relations Act by the Deputy Industrial Registrar for an order deregistering the Actors, Entertainers and Announcers Equity Association Queensland, Union of Employees.  I am satisfied that all necessary procedural requirements have been met.  I am satisfied that the evidence establishes that the organisation has no members, no offices, no assets or liabilities.  It is not a party to any industrial agreements or awards and it is not a peak body.  It is, therefore, defunct.  No incidental orders are sought.

I would order that the Actors, Entertainers and Announcers Equity Association of Queensland Union of Employees be deregistered.

VICE PRESIDENT LINNANE:   I agree.

DEPUTY PRESIDENT O’CONNOR:   I agree.

THE PRESIDENT:   The order is as stated.
