1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Leichhardt Local Environmental Plan 2000 (Amendment

No 18).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

(1)

To the extent that this Plan rezones land, it applies to the following land:

(a)

701–703 Parramatta Road, Leichhardt (Lot 1, DP 927456) (formerly known as 10 Hathern Street, Leichhardt),

(b)

107 Elliott Street, Balmain,

(c)

public reserve, rear of 27 Susan Street, Annandale (Lot 2, DP 1041424),

(d)

13 Hearn Street, Leichhardt,

(e)

Wangal Nura Park, 41 Flood Street, Leichhardt (formerly known as 26–28 Myrtle Street, Leichhardt),

(f)

Marr Reserve, 44A Cary Street, Leichhardt (formerly known as 74–80 Excelsior Street, Leichhardt),

(g)

13 Simmons Street, Balmain East,

(h)

34, 36, 38 and 40 Nicholson Street and 5A Duke Place, Balmain East,

(i)      2–8 Weston Street, Balmain East,

as shown distinctively coloured, edged heavy black and identified by zone on Sheets 1–9 of the map marked “Leichhardt Local Environmental Plan 2000 Amendment No 18—Zoning Map” (the amending map) deposited in the office of Leichhardt Municipal Council.

To the extent that this Plan updates the description of land within the Open Space Zone under Leichhardt Local Environmental Plan 2000 that is identified for acquisition, it applies to part of 23, 25, 29, 31, 33, 37, 39, 41, 43 and 45 Susan Street, Annandale, as shown coloured green on the Zoning Map.

To the extent that this Plan allows a refreshment room on land, it applies to 107 Elliott Street, Balmain (Lot 1, DP 852863 and Lot 26, DP 850832) and part of Paringa Reserve, Elliott Street, Balmain (being part of Lot E, DP 36161), as identified as “SSP” and edged heavy black on Sheet 2 of the amending map.

To the extent that this Plan reclassifies land from community land to operational land, it applies to part of Paringa Reserve, Elliott Street, Balmain, being part of Lot E, DP 36161, as identified as “Reclassification Area” on Sheet 2 of the amending map.

To the extent that this Plan rectifies a heritage conservation mapping anomaly, it applies to 29 and 31 William Street, Balmain East (Lot 1, DP 736305 and Lot 1, DP 986257), as shown coloured orange, edged heavy black and identified as heritage items on the map marked “Leichhardt Local Environmental Plan 2000 Amendment No 18— Heritage Conservation Map” deposited in the office of Leichhardt Municipal Council.

To the extent that this Plan corrects a misdescription of a heritage item, it applies to 2 Marion Street, Leichhardt (previously referred to as 119 Renwick Street, Leichhardt).
