Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Legislative Assembly Act Amendment Act 1971. (2) The Legislative Assembly Act of 1867 as subsequently amended and as amended by this Act may be collectively cited as the LegislativeAssembly Act1867-1971.

The LegislativeAssembly Act of 1867 as subsequently amended is further amended by repealing section 3. 3. Repeal of s. 3. ConstitutionAct AmendmentAct 1922. The ConstitutionAct Amendment Act of 1922 is amended by repealing section 3. 4. Repeal of Constitution Act Amendment Act 1935. The Constitution Act Amendment Act of 1935 is repealed.
