1  Name

This instrument is the Legislation (Deferral of Sunsetting—Social Security (Administration) Instruments) Certificate 2022.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 51(1)(c) of the Legislation Act 2003.

4  Deferral of sunsetting

The following instruments, for which the sunsetting day is 1 October 2022, are repealed by section 51 of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 October 2023:

(a)  Social Security (Administration) (Declared child protection State — New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria) Determination 2012;

(b)  Social Security (Administration) (Declared income management area — Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands) Determination 2012;

(c)  Social Security (Administration) (Declared voluntary income management areas — New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria) Determination 2012;

(d)  Social Security (Administration) (Recognised State or Territory — Northern Territory) Determination 2012;

(e)  Social Security (Administration) (Specified income management Territory – Northern Territory) Specification 2012;

(f)  Social Security (Administration) (Vulnerable income management areas) Specification 2012.

5  Repeal of this instrument

This instrument is repealed at the start of 2 October 2023.
