Legal Profession (Society Rules) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Legal Profession (Society Rules) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Notice amended This notice amends the Legal Profession (Society Rules) Notice 2007. 3 Replacement of s 3 (Notice of making of society rules by law society) Section 3— omit, insert— ‘3 Notice of making of society rules by law society ‘The rules mentioned in column 1 of the schedule— (a) have been made as society rules; and (b) commence on the date stated in column 2 of the schedule opposite the name of the rules.’. 4 Insertion of new schedule After section 3— insert— ‘Schedule Society rules section 3 Editor’s note — The rules are available, without charge, for public inspection— (a) at the law society’s principal place of business at 179 Ann Street, Brisbane during normal working hours; or Page 2 2008 SL No. 39
