Legal Profession (Australian Solicitors Conduct Rules) Notice 2012

1   Short title

This notice may be cited as the Legal Profession (Australian Solicitors Conduct Rules) Notice 2012.

2   Commencement

This notice commences on 1 June 2012.

3   Notice of making of solicitors rules by law society

The ‘Australian Solicitors Conduct Rules’ have been made as solicitors rules.

Note—

See the Act, section 225 (Minister to give notice of solicitors and barristers rules) for the requirement to notify the rules.

Editor’s note—

The rules are available, without charge, for public inspection—

(a)at the law society’s principal place of business at 179 Ann Street, Brisbane during normal working hours; or

(b)on the law society’s internet site at < or on an internet site identified on the law society’s internet site.

4   Repeal of notice

The Legal Profession (Solicitors Rules) Notice 2007, SL No. 164 is repealed.
