s1 2 s3 Legal Profession Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2004 No. 274, 2004 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Legal Profession Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2004 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Legal Profession Regulation 2004. 3 Insertion of new s 34 Part 4, after section 33— insert ‘34 Records of Solicitors’ Board and Barristers’ Board ‘(1) This section applies to the records of the previous Solicitors’ Board and Barristers’ Board ( previous boards ) that were, under section 616 of the Act, to be the subject of arrangements between the board and each of the previous boards. ‘(2) The board has the custody and control of the records. ‘(3) This section is a transitional regulation. ‘(4) Under section 643(5) of the Act, this section expires 1 year after the commencement of that section.’.
