Legal Profession Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Legal Profession Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Legal Profession Regulation 2007. 3 Insertion of new s 5A Part 1.2 — insert — 5A Legal Aid Queensland prescribed as community legal service For the Act, schedule 2, definition community legal service , paragraph (b), Legal Aid Queensland is prescribed as a community legal service. 4 Amendment of s 85 (Application of pt 3.6 of the Act) (1) Section 85(2)— insert — Note — Part 3.6 of the Act does not apply to a Legal Aid lawyer performing the lawyer’s duties under the Legal Aid QueenslandAct 1997 . See the Legal Aid Queensland Act 1997 , section 72. (2) Section 85(3), ‘of’, second mention— omit.
