Assessment) Act 1998 No 83—

Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Legal Profession Amendment (Costs Assessment) Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 September 1999 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (Schedule 1 [3], [4], [5] and [15] excepted) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain uncommenced amendments to the Legal Profession Act 1987. The remaining uncommenced amendments relate to costs in motor vehicle accident matters.
