Assessment) Act 1998 No 83—

Proclamation

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Legal Profession Amendment (Costs Assessment) Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1999 as the day on which Schedule 1 [2], [16], [18] and [19] to that Act commences.

Legal Profession Amendment (Costs Assessment) Act 1998 No 83—Proclamation
Explanatory note

This Proclamation commences the following provisions of the Legal Profession

Amendment (Costs Assessment) Act 1998:

(a)

provisions relating to the payment of cost relating to the administration of Part 11 of the Legal Profession Act 1987 (which deals with cost assessments),

(b) savings and transitional provisions.
