Legal Practitioners Admission Rules

1994

Legal Profession Act 1987

By decision of the Legal Practitioners Admission Board the following rules and schedule are amended.

In rule 3:
Delete “Rules 15–27” and insert in lieu “Rules 15–26”;

Delete “27A–27L” and insert in lieu “27–27K”.

In rule 28:

Delete “(2) The Board may refuse to register a person as a Student-at-Law if the person is not living in, or does not expect to be living in, Australia during candidature for the Board’s examinations.” and

Insert in lieu “(3) The Board may refuse to register a person Student-at-Law if the person is not living in, or does not expect to be living in, Australia during candidature for the Board’s examinations.”

In the Fourth Schedule:

After “Faculty of Law Professional Program” insert “OR Practical Legal

Training Program”.
