LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 1987

LEGAL PRACTITIONERS TRANSITIONAL ADMISSION RULES

THE following amendment was made by the Legal Practitioners Admission

Board at its meeting on 11 December 1996.

Rule 44

Rule 44 is amended by adding:

(1) (c) the opinion of the Dean or Head of School as to whether the compulsory requirements for the award of the accredited law degree include demonstrating understanding and competence in the areas of knowledge set out in Subrule (94) (1) (b) and the Fifth Schedule.

If an Accredited Law School makes a notification pursuant to Subrule (1) (b) the notification made by that Law School under Subrule (1) (c) shall be made with respect to the degree requirements as affected by the proposed alteration to the curriculum.
