AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Legal Practitioners Ordinance 1970.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

LEGAL PRACTITIONERS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1977
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Legal Practitioners (Amend
ment) Ordinance 1977.*
2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Legal Practitioners Ordinance 1970.f
3 . Section 6L of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting the word and figures " 1 July 1977 " and substituting the word and figures " 1 October 1977 ".

5. On and after 1 October 1977, the Interpretation Ordinance 1967 has effect in relation to the provisions of Part ID of the Principal Ordin ance, as amended by this Ordinance, as if those provisions had been repealed on that day by an Ordinance.
