AN ACT to amend the Legal Practitioners Act,

1893-1955.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

by adding after the word, "least" in line three, the passage, ", except where the practitioner is the Deputy Commonwealth Crown Solicitor in the State in which case if such Deputy Commonwealth Crown Solicitor is a barrister or solicitor of the High Court of Australia or of the Supreme Court of a State of not less than two years' standing a person may be articled to him notwithstanding that he has been admitted to the Supreme Court for a lesser period than two years; but in all other respects subject to the provisions of this Act,"; and

by adding after the word, "Solicitor" in line eight and again in line twelve the passage, "of the State, or the Deputy Commonwealth Crown Solicitor in the State,".
