AN ACT to amend the Legal Practitioners Act,
1893-1950.
[Assented to 19th October, 1955.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

(2) In this Act the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893-

incorporated pursuant to the provisions of the
Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938,
is referred to as the principal Act.
(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893- 1955.

| amended. | 2. Subsection (1) of section four of the principal Act is amended by adding the following para- graphs:— |
| (e) | The person who holds the office of Chief Justice of Western Australia at the date of the coming into operation of the Legal Practitioners Act Amendment Act, 1955, and who thereafter retires from that office and resides in the State; |
| (f) | Every person residing in the State, who has retired from an office of Judge of the Supreme Court pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Judges' Retirement Act, 1937-1950. |
