No. 49 of 1950.
AN ACT to amend Sections Seven and Twenty- four of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893-1948.
[Assented to 18th December, 1950.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

by deleting from the first five lines of subsection (2)
the words
For the payment of the sum of five hundred pounds in each year to the University of Western Australia as a contribution towards the establishing and maintaining of a chair of law.
S. 24
Section twenty-four of the principal Act is amended by adding after paragraph (e) of sub- section (1) the word "and" and a further paragraph as follows:

(1) if it is satisfied on the evidence before it at such enquiry that any sum certain in money is owing or payable by the practi- tioner to the complainant, order the prac- titioner to pay such sum to the Board.
