AN ACT to amend section fourteen of the Legal Prac-

titioners Act, 1893.

[Assented to 9th, January, 1946.]

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,

by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by

the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short

title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893, Amendment Act, 1945, and shall be read as one with the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893, as reprinted in the Sessional Volume of Statutes for the year 1927, and as amended by No. 45 of 1944 (hereinafter called the Principal Act).

Amendment

of a. 14.

2. Section fourteen of the principal Act is amended as f ollows

(1) After the word "Scotland" in paragraph (b) add the words "or is a law agent enrolled pursuant to the provisions of the Law Agents (Scotland) Act, 1873, in Scotland."

(2) After the words "Bachelor of Law" in paragraph (e) insert the words "or a degree in law or in juris- prudence."
