Legal Practice Board Amendment Rules 2000

Made under section 6 by The Legal Practice Board.

1.             Citation

These rules may be cited as the Legal Practice Board
Amendment Rules 2000.

2.             The rules amended

The amendments in these rules are to the Legal Practice Board
Rules 1949*.

3.             Rule 20 amended

Rule 20(aa) is deleted.

4.             Rule 21 amended

Rule 21 is amended by deleting “accompanied by —” and paragraphs (a) and (b) and inserting instead —

“

accompanied by a deed of assignment substantially in

the form of Form E in Schedule 1.

”.

5.             Rule 22 amended

Rule 22(2) is repealed and the following subrule is inserted instead —

“

(2) An application under subrule (1) is to be accompanied
by a signed deed of articles of clerkship substantially in
the form of Form A in Schedule 1.

”.

6.             Rule 22A repealed

Rule 22A is repealed.

7.             Schedule 2 repealed

Schedule 2 is repealed.
