AN ACT to validate the Rates made by the

Council of the Municipality of Leederville.

[Assented to 22nd September, 19141

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par-BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. 7 his Act may be cited as the Leederville Rates Validation Act, 1914.

2, All rates heretofore made and levied or purporting to have

been made and levied by the Council of the Municipality of Leederville shall be deemed to have been lawfully made and levied, and all things necessary to be clone in and towards the making and .levying of such rates shall be deemed to have been duly performed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with any of the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906. or any Act thereby re- pealed relating thereto, and the said rates, so far as the Council had power to make and levy the same, may be recovered by the Council accordingly as if the provisions of the said Acts had been in all respects duly complied with.
