LEE WHARF FURTHER
EXTENSION ACT.
Act No. 11, 193G.
An Act to sanction the further extension of Lee Wharf at Newcastle; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 5th May, 1936.]
BE it enacted b y the King 's Most Excellent Majesty, lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South b y and with the advice and consent of the Legis Wales in Parl iament assembled, and b y the au thor i ty of the same, as follows :—
1. This Act may be cited as the " L e e W h a r f F u r t h e r Extens ion Act, 1936."
2. The ca r ry ing out of the work described in the Schedule to this Act is hereby sanctioned, and the Minis ter for Publ ic W o r k s is empowered to ca r ry out the same.

4. The cost of ca r ry ing out the said work (exclusive of land resumpt ions) is es t imated a t fifty-four thousand pounds, and such es t imated cost shall not , under any circumstances, be exceeded by more t h a n ten pe r centum. S C H E D U L E .

SCHEDULE. '
The construction of a high-level timher wharf on piles commencing at the western end of the existing Lee Wharf and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 100 feet, together with dredging, all necessary filling and roadway construction behind the wharf: this "work is indicated in red and marked "A" on the deposited plan.
AI30 the construction of a low-level wharf commencing at a point 100 feet west from the western end of the existing Lee Wharf and -extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 400 feet, including steel sheet piling face, concrete deck and rail tracks on wharf, dredging, all necessary filling behind the wharf, new roadway construction and re-alignmeut of existing rail tracks and additions thereto at the back of the wharf: this work is indicated in red and marked <-B" on the
deposited plan.
The whole subject to such modifications as may be considered •desirable by the Minister.
