LEE WHARF EXTENSION ACT.

at N e w c a s t l e ; and for purposes connected
the rewi th . [Assen ted to , 21st December ,
1928.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the " Lee Wharf Exten­ sion Act, 1923."

2 . The carrying out of the work described in the Schedule to this Act is hereby sanctioned, and the Secretary for Public Works is empowered to carry out the same.

3 . The plan of the said work is the plan marked " Newcastle Harbour Improvements, Lee Wharf Exten­ sion," signed by the Secretary for Public Works, and countersigned by the Chief Engineer, for Harbours and Drainage, and deposited in the public office of the said Secretary.

4. The cost of carrying out the said work (exclusive of land resumptions) is estimated at forty-four thousand four hundred pounds, and such estimated cost shall not, under any circumstances, be exceeded by more than ten per centum.

S C H E D U L E .

T H E construct ion of a wharf of t imber commencing a t the western end
of the exist ing Lee Wharf, city of Newcastle , ex tend ing thence a distance of 540 feet in a westerly direction, toge ther with the erection of a goods shed and awning , and all necessary filling behind wharf, dra inage and rai lway connections as indicated in red, and marked " A " on deposited plan, subject to such modifications as may be considered

desirable by the Cons t ruc t ing Author i ty .
