Lee and Zaplan

In the matter of *Lee and Zaplan*, heard before Judge Brown, the dispute concerned parenting orders for a child, X, born in 2010. The orders made by the court addressed the living arrangements for the child and the father's time with the child.

The court was required to determine the specific arrangements for the child's residence and the father's contact. This included establishing a schedule for the father to spend time with the child, specifying the days and times, as well as the locations for handovers between parents. The court also needed to make orders regarding the child's schooling.

The court ordered that the child X would live with the mother. The father was granted specific time with the child on Thursdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, commencing on 10 December 2015, and also on Christmas Day 2015 within the same hours. Handovers were to occur at a designated Police Station, except for those at school. The mother was authorised to enrol the child at a primary school for the commencement of the 2016 school year. From Term 1 of 2016, the father's time with the child was to extend to after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 6:30 pm, with the father responsible for collecting and returning the child. Further consideration of the matter was adjourned to a later date.
