Leases (Commercial and Retail) Amendment Regulation 2016 (No 1)

Leases (Commercial and Retail) Act 2001

1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Leases (Commercial and Retail) Amendment Regulation 2016 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Leases (Commercial and Retail) Regulation 2002.

4. New section 4 (1) (k)

   insert

   (k)a lease (including any lease resulting from the exercise of an option) of premises that are used as a petrol station between VER Custodian Pty Limited (ACN 612 669 520), in its capacity as trustee of the VER Trust (lessor) and Viva Energy Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 004 610 459) (tenant).
