Laying Chicken Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting:

(a) with the advice of the Federal Executive Council; and

(b) after taking into consideration the recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 7 (b) of the Laying Chicken Levy Act 1988 made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council (being the Council established under the Exotic Animal Disease Control Act 1989)nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation;

make the following Regulations under the Laying Chicken Levy Act 1988.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 July 1993.

2. Amendment

2.1 The Laying Chicken Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 3 (Prescribed amounts)

3.1 Subregulation 3 (2):

Omit “0.25”, substitute “0.22”.
