An Act to amend the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provi­ sions) Act, 1946, to remove certain doubts with respect to the joinder of causes of action and other matters in actions in the District Court. [Assented to, 20th

February, 1978.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Law Reform (Joinder

of Actions) Amendment Act, 1978".

1. This Act shall be deemed to have commenced on 1st

July, 1973.

3. The Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act,

1946, is amended—

(a) by inserting in section IA after the words "Supreme Court" the words "and the District Court";

(b) by omitting section 4 (3) ( a ) .
