BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative COuncil and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: -

Short title.

I. This Act may be cited as the "Law Reform Commission (Amend-

ment) Act. 19X4".
Amendment of Act No. 39. 1967.

1. The Law Reform Commission Act. 1967. is amended in the manner

set forth in Schedule I.

(Sec. 2. i

A M E N D M E N T S TO THE LAW REFORM COMMISSION A C T . 1967.

( I ) Section I I —

Omit the section.

i 2) Section 13 ( 5 ) - ( 7 ) —

Omit section 13 ( 5 ) . insert instead: —

(5) The Commission shall furnish each of its reports to the

Minister for tabling in Parliament.

(6) The Minister or. with the approval in writing of the Minister, the Commission may publish a report referred to in subsection ( I ) or (2) before it is tabled in Parliament.

(7 ) A report published pursuant to subsection (6 ) shall, tor the

purposes of the Parliamentary Papers (Supplementary Provisions) Act. 1975. be deemed to have been published under the authority of either House of Parliament.
