AN ACT to amend " The Law and Parlia-

mentary Library Act, 1873."

[ Assented to, 16th September, 1881. ]

HEREAS it is expedient to amend " The Law and Parlia-

and constitution of the Library Committee, established under theWmentary Library Act, 1873," in respect of the formation

provisions of the said Act: Be it therefore enacted by His Excel- lency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

1 SECTION 3 of " The Law and Parliamentary Library Act,

1873," shall be, and the same is hereby repealed.

Law and Parliamentary Library Act—Amendment

2 THE Chief Justice and the Attorney General for the time

being, or such two other officers as the Governor may appoint, shall, together with one unofficial member of the Legislative Council, to be appointed in that behalf by the said, Council from time to time, form the Law and Parliamentary Library Committee.

3 THIS Act may be cited for all purposes as " The Law and

Parliamentary Library Amendment Act, 1881."
