30 Lang Park Trust Act Amendment Act 1986, No. 2 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same , as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . This Act may be cited as the Lang Park Trust Act Amendment Act 1986. 2. Citation. (1) In this Act the Lang Park Trust Act 1962-1981 is referred to as the Principal Act. (2) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Lang Park Trust Act 1962-1986. 3. Amendment of s. 2. Meaning of terms . Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the definition "Minister" and substituting the following definition:- "Minister"- - TThhe Minister of the Crown for the time being administering this Act. The term includes any Minister of the Crown who is temporarily performing the duties of the Minister;". 4. Amendment of s. 3. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by, in subsection (3)- (a) inserting in paragraph (c) after the word "League" the word "Limited"; (b) omitting from paragraph (d) the words "Brisbane Rugby Football League" and substituting the words "Queensland Rugby Football League Limited (Brisbane Division)". 5. Amendment of s. 5 . Disqualification from membership of Trust. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by, in subsection (1), omitting the words "or Queensland Rugby Football League or Brisbane Rugby Football League". 6. Repeal of ss. 7, 8 and 9 . The Principal Act is amended by repealing sections 7, 8 and 9 and substituting the following sections:- "7. Deed of grant continued in existence . The deed of grant that, immediately before the commencement of the Lang Park Trust Act Amendment Act 1986, vested in the trustees of the Trust (in fee simple for recreation and sporting purposes) the land described in Part A of the Schedule is continued in existence and the land so described shall continue to be subject to the provisions of this Act. S. Deed of grant issued under Land Act deemed issued under this Act. (1) Upon the commencement of the Lang Park Trust Act Amendment Act 1986, the deed of grant issued to the trustees

Lang Park Trust Act Amendment Act 1986, No. 2 31 of the Trust under the Land Act 1962-1984 in respect of the land described in Part B of the Schedule shall be deemed- (a) to have been issued under this Act and not under the Land Act 1962-1984; and (b) to have granted the land so described to the trustees of the Trust in fee simple for recreation and sporting purposes, and the land so described shall be deemed to be subject to the provisions of this Act. (2) The validity and effect of any dealing effected in respect of the land contained in the deed of grant referred to in subsection (1) shall not be affected by reason of that subsection. 9. Certain provisions of Land Act to apply . (1) The grants referred to in sections 7 and 8 shall be subject to such reservations and conditions as are authorized or prescribed by the Land Act 1962-1985. (2) All information required by section 337 of the Land Act 1962-1985 to be entered in the register of trustees prescribed by that section to be kept in the Department of Lands shall, as occasion requires, be entered in the register in respect of the Trust.". 7. Repeal of s. 12 . Certain leases and a sublease to be granted. The Principal Act is amended by repealing section 12. 8. Amendment of s. 13. By-laws. Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended by, in subsection (3), omitting the words "twenty pounds" and substituting the expression "$500". 9. Table. Repeal of Schedule . The Principal Act is amended by repealing the Schedule and substituting the following Schedule:- "THE SCHEDULE PART A [s. 7] Lot 353 on Registered Plan 192572, County of Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane, City of Brisbane; containing an area of 6.4892 hectares. PART B [s. 8) Lot 1163 on Plan SL7066, County of Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane, City of Brisbane; containing an area of 2340 square metres.".
