Part 1 — Preliminary
1. Citation
22 May 2020 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 1235 2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows
(a)
Part 1 - on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations - on 1 July 2020.
Part 2— Land Administration Regulations 1998

3. Regulations amended
This Part amends the Land Administration Regulations 1998.
4. Regulation 17A replaced
Delete regulation 17A and insert:
17A. Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 prescribed
(Act s. 5A)(1) In this regulation -
2017 Determination means the National Measurement
(Recognized-Value Standard of Measurement of
Position) Determination 2017 (Commonwealth), as in
force on 1 July 2020;
Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 means the
Reference Frame defined in the 2017 Determination
clause 4.(2) For the purposes of section 5A( 1) of the Act, the
Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 is prescribed.
Part 3 Land Information Authority Regulations 2007

5. Regulations amended
This Part amends the Land Information Authority
Regulations 2007.6. Regulation 3 amended
(1) In regulation 3(1) insert in alphabetical order: 2017 Determination National Measurement
means the force on 1 July 2020;

means the clause 4.
(2) In regulation 3(1) in the definition of geodetic survey mark
delete "Geocentric Datum of Australia;" and insert:Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020; R. NEILSON, Clerk of the Executive Council.
