2 Lands Legislation Amendment (No. 2) No. 356, 1993 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Lands Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1993 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF LAND REGULATION 1988 ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Land Regulation 1988 is amended as set out in this Part. ˙ Amendment of s.44 (Interest rates) 3.(1) Section 44(1), (3), (4) and (6)— omit ‘ 10.94% ’, insert ‘ 9.5% ’. (2) Section 44(2)— omit ‘ 6.94% ’, insert ‘ 5.5% ’. ˙ Amendment of s.49 (Hardship—s.248A of the Act) 4.(1) Section 49(1)(a)(i) and (ii)— omit ‘ 7% ’, insert ‘ 5.5% ’. (2) Section 49(1)(b)— omit ‘ 10.94% ’, insert ‘ 5.5% ’. (3) Section 49(2)— omit ‘ 1 January 1992 ’, insert ‘ 1 September 1993 ’.
