An Ordinance for vesting certain Lands in the City of

Perth in Her Majesty. [Assented to 16th Ady,1863.

EREAS several pieces of land on the town site of the City of Perth are required as a site for Pensioners' Barracks and for other purposes : And whereas it is expedient that the title to the said pieces of land should be vested in Her Majesty for the purposes afore- said : And whereas the right of property in certain public streets and portions of streets included in the said pieces of land is now vested in the Perth City Council : Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :—

1. That the legal possession, right of property, title and estate, the Perth City Council, of, in and to the several pieces or parcels of land which are particularly described in the subjoined schedule, or any part thereof respectively, shall absolutely cease and determine, and the whole of the said several pieces or parcels of land, and all the right, title and right of property in law or in equity thereto, and the legal possession thereof, shall be and the same are hereby vested in Her Majesty, her heirs and successors for ever.

Part of Milligan Street : contents (Oa. 2r. 7p.), two roods and seven perches, more or less, bounded on the north-west by a prolongation of Mount Street, from east corner of Perth town lot L 26e, to north-west corner of town lot L 26; on the south-west, by part of the north-east side of Spring Street, between south corner of lot L 20'1 aforesaid and west corner of town lot L 264; on the west by said lot L 26a, measuring 4 chains 47 links ; and on the east by said lots L 26 and L 264, measuring together 6 chains 48 links.

Prince Street : contents (Oa. 2r.17p.), two roods and seventeen perches, more or less, bounded on the north-east by 1 chain of Douro Street ; on the south-west by 1 chain of Murray Street ; on the south-east by Perth town lot V 48 ; and on the north-west, by town lot V 49, each 6 chains 10 links in length.

Albert Square : contents (12a. 2r. 35p.), twelve acres two roods and thirty-five perches, more or less, bounded on the north-east by 10 chains GO links of Murray Street, from north-east corner of Perth town lot H 40 to north-west corner of town lot H 41 ; on the south-west by 10 chains 60 links of St. George's Terrace from south-east corner of town lot H 23 to south-west corner of lot H 22; on the south- east by town lots H 22 and H 41 and by part of Hay Street, measuring together 12 chains ; and on the north-west by town lots H 23 and H 40, and by part of Hay Street, measuring together 12 chains.

Part of St. George's Terrace : contents (2a. Or. Gp.), two acres and six perches, more or less, bounded on the north-east by 13 chains 60 links of the north-east side of St. George's Terrace from south-west corner of Perth town lot H 13 to south-east corner of town lot H 23 ; on the south-west by a line parallel and equal to the north-east boundary ; on the south-east by a line of about 1,1; chains to town lot L 55, in prolongation of the north-west boundary of lot H 13 aforesaid ; and on the north-west by a similar line from south-east corner of town lot H 23.
