An Ordinance to vest in Her Majesty a certain piece of

ground forming a portion of a public thoroughfare

known by the name of Spencer Street in the Town of

Albany.

[Assented to 3rd August, 1368.

HEREAS it is expedient to extend the boundaries of a certain Preamble

room for new public offices and for that purpose to include within theW

piece of land in the Town of Albany in order to afford sufficient

said boundaries a part of a, public thoroughfare in the said town known in the official records as Spencer-street : Be it enacted by His Ex- cellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :-

1. That from and after the passing hereof, all right of property Part of Spencer-

and title and all trusts which may have at any time been vested by

Ordinance or otherwise in the trustees of the Town of Albany in any Majesty

part of the area more particularly described in the Schedule hereunto

annexed shall absolutely cease and determine, and the whole of the

said area and the estate, right and title at Law and in Equity thereto

shall be re-vested in Her most gracious Majesty Queen Victoria, her

heirs and successors for ever, for the public uses of the said Colony.

SCHEDULE

All that piece or parcel of land situate in Spencer-street in the Town of Albany, containing sixteen perches more or less, which said land is bounded on the west by one chain of the west side of Spencer-street, commencing at a spot one .chain southwards from south-east corner of Albany Town Lot S 17, and extending towards the north-east corner of Town Lot B 15 ; on the north by a line of one chain extending eastward perpendicular to the west boundary ; on the east and south by lines respectively parallel and equal to the west and north boundaries.
