LAND VALUATION (NO. 2)

No. 23 of 1970

An Ordinance to amend the Land Valuation Ordinance

1936-1967, as amended by the Land Valuation

Ordinance 1970.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Land Valuation

Ordinance (No. 2) 1970.*

(2.) Section 1 of the Land Valuation Ordinance 1970f is

amended by omitting sub-section (2 . ) .

(3.) The Land Valuation Ordinance 1936-1967,$ as amended by the Land Valuation Ordinance 1970 and by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Land Valuation Ordinance 1936-1970.

2 . Section 15A of the Land Valuation Ordinance 1936-1967, as amended by the Land Valuation Ordinance 1970, is amended by omitting sub-section (1.) and inserting in its stead the following sub­ section:—

" (1. ) A person who attends for the purpose of giving evidence before the Commissioner or a Deputy Land Commisioner is entitled to receive such fees and travelling expenses in accordance with the scale in the Second Schedule to the Public Works Committee Regu­ lations as in force from time to time under the Public Works Committee Act 1969 as the Commissioner or the Deputy Land Commissioner determines.".
