AN ACT to amend the Land Tax Assessment

Act, 1907-1956.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Land Tax and citation.

(2) In this Act the Land Tax Assessment Act,

in 1932

1907-1956, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Land Tax Assessment Act, 1907-1959.

amended. 2. Paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section ten

of the principal Act is amended by

(a) substituting for subparagraph (i) the following subparagraph-

(i) any person who is in receipt of an age pension, an invalid pension or a widow's pension, under the provisions of the Social Services Act 1947-1958 (Commonwealth Act), or of that Act as amended at any time;

(b) deleting subparagraph (ii);

(c)	substituting for the subparagraph designa- tion, "(iii)" the designation, "(ii)";
(d)	substituting for the passage, "Australian Soldiers' Repatriation Act, 1920-1943 (Com- monwealth)" in lines two and three of subparagraph (iii), the passage, "Repat- riation Act 1920-1958 (Commonwealth Act), or of that Act as amended at any time"; and
(e)	substituting for the subparagraph designa- tion, "(iv)" the designation, "(iii)."
