[ASSENTED TO 12TH NOVEMBER, 1936.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, - by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title 1. This Act may be cited as "The Land Tax Acts : ~ struction. Amendment Act of 1936," and shall be re~ d as one with *"The Land Tax Acts, 1915 to 1936," heremafter referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may collectively be cited as "The Land Tax Acts, 1915 to 1936." Repeal of and new tiI.32. Amendment of the Principal Act. 2. (1.) Section thirty-two of the Principal Act is hereby repealed and the following new section is inserted in lieu thereof, namely ;- "[32.J Land tax shall be due and payable upon such date as the Commissioner notifies to the taxpayer in the notice of assessment served as prescribed." (2.) The amendment of the Principal Act made by subsection one of this section shall be deemed to have been so made on the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and shall have retrospective effect and operation accordingly. * 6 Geo.
