870 ANNO VICESIMO QUINTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE BEGIN E No. 72 o f 1976 An Act to amend the Land Tax Act 1915-1974 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 14rH DECEMBER, 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Land Tax Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) The Land Tax Act 1915-1974 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Land Tax Act1915-1976. 2. Commencement . This Act shall be deemed to have commenced on 29 June 1976 and shall have retrospective effect accordingly. 3. Amendment of s. 11. Section I t of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) omitting the expression " 560000.00 " wherever occurring and substituting in each case the expression " 575 000 "; (b) omitting the expression "520000.00" wherever occurring and substituting in each case the expression " 525 000 ". 4. Amendment of s. 16. Section 16 of the Principal Act is amended by.- (a) omitting the expression " S2,000 " and substituting the expression " 54 000 "; (b) omitting the expression " 522 000.00 " and substituting the expression " S29 000 ". 5. Amendment of s. 18 . Section 18 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the words " six dollars " where twice occurring and substituting in each case the expression " S12 ".
