Act No. 143, 1985

An Act to amend the Land Sales Act 1964 to enable a document under that

Act to include information relating to section 52A of the Conveyancing

Act 1919. [Assented to, 25th November, 1985.]

Land Sales (Amendment) 1985

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the "Land Sales (Amendment) Act 1985".

Commencement

2. (1) Sections 1 and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this

Act.

(2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the

commencement of the Conveyancing (Amendment) Act 1985.
Amendment of Act No. 12, 1964

1. The Land Sales Act 1964 is amended by inserting after section 29 (1)

the following subsection:

(1A) A regulation may be made so as to include in a notice or other

document under this Act matter relating to any provision of or made

for the purposes of section 52A of the Conveyancing Act 1919.
